2nd Annual Virtual 5K
SisterHouse is hosting a virtual 5k! Run or walk on your own or with friends. A group will also be meeting outside SisterHouse in Oak Park at 9am for those who would like to participate in person. We will have both runners and walkers, all are welcome! Thanks so much for supporting SisterHouse!
For those interested in running or walking together on Saturday morning on May 4th, there will be a group gathering in the front of the house around 8:30 to run or walk the 5k route which will start and end at SisterHouse. But no pressure, this is primarily a virtual run!
Route directions are below and click here for a printable map.
Remember, this is NOT a closed 5k route but only a suggested open route to run 5 kilometers that starts and ends at the House.
For those who want to run or walk from SisterHouse, here is a suggested route:
· The route starts and ends at SisterHouse, 25 Washington Blvd
· Follow Washington West for roughly 1.1 miles to Kenilworth and make a right (North)
· Follow Kenilworth North for roughly 0.5 miles to Lake St and make a right (East)
· Follow Lake East for roughly 1.1 miles to Austin and make a right (South)
· Follow Austin for roughly 0.4 miles to Washington and end the race at SisterHouse
